EVER TRIED A DIET THAT WORKED FOR EVERYONE EXCEPT YOU?

Ever been on a diet rollercoaster? You know, where you follow what worked for others, shed those pounds, and feel on top of the world... only to see them all come back, leaving you right where you started? It's frustrating, right? Feeling like you're the only one who can't make it stick. But here's the thing – it's not about the diet failing you; it's about finding what truly works for you.

So, how do you figure out what's best for you? You need to start by assessing your current habits and ask yourself: How do you feel after you eat? Do you feel energized? Or more like taking a nap? Do you turn to food for comfort? Why do you eat when you’re stressed, bored, or upset? Are you structuring your meals in a way that fits your lifestyle while getting you results? Or are you trying to change everything about your lifestyle to try and hit your goals? One you’ll be able to do much longer than the other.

The problem is not that you don’t understand what you need to do; you just need to learn how to do it in a way that fits your lifestyle.

Let me share some stories from my clients that bring this home.

First, there's this client who's always on the move, travelling for work and personal reasons. Picture this: he's in different places all the time, with limited control over his meals and where he's staying. For him, I had to get super creative. We focused on him eating most of his lean proteins while keeping the calories low during the day. At dinner time, he would eat the majority of his fats, carbs and calories. Why? Because dinner was often out at restaurants where it's tough to find high-protein, low-fat, and carb meals. So, we flipped the script – lighter days and heavier dinners. It was all about adapting to his unique situation.

Then, contrast him with another client of mine. She’s got full access to a kitchen, a grocery store nearby, and a squat rack right in her garage. Talk about different scenarios, right? Her program was detailed: weighing food to the gram and a fitness routine that used all that home gym glory. Tailoring her plan was about precision and taking advantage of her resources.

And there’s this other guy, always on the go, who flat-out refused to weigh his food. No scales, no grams, nothing. So, what did I do? I started simple. Swapped out his usual greasy, fast-food picks for healthier, high-protein, low-calorie options found in the places he was already eating at. Over time, we built up from there. Now, he's all about protein-focused meals, even when eating out, and using his hands and eyes to portion. The best part? His growing commitment to exercise is driving him to eat and sleep better for recovery, though he still won't touch a food scale. And that's okay.

These stories, they're not just about diets; they're about real people with real lives. They show that there's no one-size-fits-all when it comes to eating right. It’s about finding what fits your life, your habits, and your preferences.

So, if you're feeling stuck with generic diets and tired of the one-size-fits-all approach, I'm here. Let’s figure out a plan that’s as unique as you are, one that fits into your life and helps you achieve your goals, scale or no scale.
